What to expect
We start with free tea, coffee and biscuits along with an opportunity to chat together and get to know one another.
Our meeting begins with an introduction from one of the leaders then a time of worship, often starting with a song to involve the children with actions! Our style is relaxed and informal, and we want you to feel as comfortable as possible, so feel free to stand or sit during this part of the morning.
On the first Sunday of each month we hold our monthly offering, where those who are part of Streams of Life express their commitment to God and his work here by giving money to support the ongoing work here and to enable us to continue to invest in worthy causes and situations of need. If you are a guest or visitor, please don't feel obliged to give.
Communion usually takes place on the third Sunday of each month around 11.30, lasting about 15 minutes. The children stay with us and participate. If you'd like to, we are very happy for visitors who know Jesus to share communion with us.
The children will then go to their groups, and usually a talk will take place in the main hall. However, the format of our meeting can change from week to week, as we try to be flexible and allow the Holy Spirit to guide us.
Opportunities for prayer for spiritual or physical healing often occur during our meeting, sometimes prompted by a word from God shared from the front.
After the meeting there is another opportunity to chat over tea, coffee and biscuits! Please stay and get to know us a little better...we’re a friendly lot!
